Hanen Teacher Talk Part A: Encouraging language development in early childhood settings (November)

About this course

Introducing Early Childhood Educators to Hanen Learning Language and Loving It™ approach.

This is a 3-day course and sessions will be held on:

  • November: 4th, 18th
  • December: 2nd

As an early childhood educator, you have a crucial role in developing early language, social, and literacy skills in young children. However, in a classroom with diverse needs, it can be challenging to engage every child in meaningful interactions that promote learning. When a child is quieter or less engaged, they may sometimes miss out on interactions, which limits their opportunities to communicate and learn.

Teacher Talk™ stems from the Hanen Learning Language and Loving It™ Program. It's designed to support all children in your care, whether typically developing, language-delayed, or second-language learners.

Aims of the course

This training addresses how educators can use everyday conversations, play and daily routines to promote the communication and social development of all children, including those with language delays and those who are second language learners.
